چکیده
Soil improvement is commonly carried out in construction work with the aim of increasing bearing capacity / strength soil so that it can carry load will stand on it. The method often used stabilization addition materials. In this study, was Portland Cement. This research begins sampling and laboratory testing to determine physical mechanical properties soil, followed by making samples for Unconfined compressive 3 variations cement, namely 5%, 10%, 20%. From results known sample has a moisture content 97.13%, specific gravity 2.51, liquid limit 33.80% plasticity 22.52% plastic index value = 11.28%. Based classification system USCS (Unified Classification System) method, sedimentary types include CL (Clay-Low) types, clays low values. without portland cement obtained 0.352 kg/cm2. And stabilized various Cement highest 14.45 kg/cm2, + 20% 28 days curing time. showed dredging dam bili-bili tends increase its percentage time, category hard consistency be building structures road base soils.

Influence of Curing Time and Water Content on Unconfined Compressive Strength of Sand Stabilized Using Epoxy Resin
Improvement and stabilization of soils are widely used to improve the physical and mechanical properties of sandy soils. Despite the abundance of researchers that have been conducted on this topic to date, most of them have focused on dry soil. The effects of the existing water in the soil and different curing durations (curing environment) have not been investigated. In this study, different p...

Due to economical and environmental issues, utilization of mineral wastes, e.g. iron ore mine tailing (IOMT), as road materials can be recommended as a sustainable alternative. In the present study, mechanical properties, as well as resistance to freezing and thawing cycles (F-T) of low plasticity clay soil stabilized with different percentages of Portland cement (0, 6, 9, 12 and 15%) and diffe...

Objective. The aim of this study was to evaluate the compressive strength and setting time of MTA and Portland cement (PC) associated with bismuth oxide (BO), zirconium oxide (ZO), calcium tungstate (CT), and strontium carbonate (SC). Methods. For the compressive strength test, specimens were evaluated in an EMIC DL 2000 apparatus at 0.5 mm/min speed. For evaluation of setting time, each materi...
متن کاملThe Effect of Geopolymerization on the Unconfined Compressive Strength of Stabilized Fine-grained Soils
This study focuses on evaluating the unconfined compressive strength (UCS) of improved fine-grained soils. A large database of unconfined compressive strength of clayey soil specimens stabilized with fly ash and blast furnace slag based geopolymer were collected and analyzed. Subsequently, using adaptive neuro fuzzy inference system (ANFIS), a model has been developed to assess the UCS of stabi...

In this paper, three rock types including Sandstone, Mudstone, and Crystalline Gypsum were part of a laboratory study conducted to develop a dataset for predicting the unconfined compressive strength of UAE intact sedimentary rock specimens. Four hundred nineteen rock samples from various areas along the coastal region of the UAE were collected and tested for the development of this dataset and...
